Visit the three major neighborhoods of the old city are Mangalemi, Gorica, and Kala where the castle is located. See the views as you climb the castle walls, entrance is included to the Museum of Iconography. The Museum is an Albanian national museum dedicated to Byzantine art and iconography in Berat, Albania. Located inside the Church of the Dormition of St Mary in the castle quarter Berat. Also with in the fortress is the Red Mosque, and St. Trinity Church. Lunch is included in a local traditional restaurant with a beverage of your choice. Entrance included into National Ethnographic Museum. The museum was organised in the year 1979 in a traditional Berat house,The building was constructed in the 18th century and it is a typical creation of the local schools of arts and crafts, designed and constructed by the local masters. The main focus of the building is the open spaces of the lobby and of the veranda. Like many period Ottoman buildings the interior is fitted with wall storage which served to contain domestic objects, such as open cupboards and niches, wall cupboards, built-in cupboards, fireplaces, and also a well. Free time in Mangalemi before we cross the Osumi River. An easy walk across the river bridge offered the spectacular view of the Old Town, the one that is probably the most known of Albania and appears on half of the postcards. The bridge of Gorica, built in 1780, is both historical and beautiful by design. Hotel drop off after tour.
