TOUR DESCRIPTION

Would like you to join a genuine Catalan food tour? This is a tasting tour through the local

market and emblematic shops. Sip and bite on Barcelona’s terraces and end it on our

favorite family-owned restaurant to delight you with their famous goodies.

Authentic flavors of the city, just like a local at the Gothic Quarter 'n Barceloneta.

In each spot you will experience not just high-quality Catalan cuisine and local drinks (wine,

vermut and cava) but also Catalan traditions and bites of its history.

Our first stop will be at the biggest Barcelona's market Mercat de St Josep, La Boqueria, a first

panoramic through Mediterranean colors and flavors. We will start to fill our stomach up with

the best Catalan edibles, from pork to artisan cheese or species, and as you are expecting

some of the best hand-cut Iberian ham on an exclusive spot at the Boqueria's market.

In the heart of the old town is located our second popular restaurant with an excellent

atmosphere and traditional 'slow food' cuisine. Our cheekiest spot is a great representation of

the Mediterranean lifestyle. In this bodega, every day is Sunday at Midday, busy terraces with

fresh and passionate conversation all molded with homemade vermouth and some fishy tapas.

The second part of our tour is at one of the most genuine neighborhoods in the city: La

Barceloneta. We will discover how it is still the fisher's quarter and we will stop to try some of

their particular gastronomic specialties. Our tour finish with the jewel of the crown: Fideuà or

Catalan paella served in a beautiful restaurant just a few minute's walk away from

Barceloneta's beach.

This tour is made with love ❤You won't regret
