Miro Tour

You wil start this tour in the Gothic neighborhood, where Joan Miró was born, in the Passatge

of Credit number 4, with your private guided tour, you will walk through the Gothic

neighborhood where Miro spent a large part of his childhood. You will walk in front of the

“Cercle del Lluc” of which he was a member and spent many hours of his youth .

Walking through the Gothic quarter, the guide will also introduce Picasso and explain the

differences between the two and many anecdotes.

You will arrive walking along the Rambla to observe the “Pla de l'Os”, a mosaic by Joan Miró

that can be seen since 1976.

But it is, without a doubt, in the Fundació Miró, inaugurated in 1975 in the magnificent

building of Josep Lluís Sert, where you will learn more about Miró's work in Barcelona:

sculptures, tapestries, ceramics and paintings of great value that make this museum an

obligate visit place.

Finally, you wil visit the sculpture 'Dona i ocell' (Woman and bird), which rises, since 1983,

above the waters of the Joan Miró Park.
