On this Girona Walking Tour we will walk through the streets of Força Vella, the walled

kind of Acropolis.

We will walk through the walls and towers of the upper part of the city, having greats views of

the city from a high perspective. We will visit some of the most emblematic buildings of

medieval architecture, such as the Cathedral, one of the most recognized Gothic works

worldwide, the church of Sant Feliu, the oldest in the city, height above an old martyrium or

early Christian church in honor of San Feliu and declared a Cultural Asset of National

Interest.Girona Cathedral is quite a sight to behold, sitting on a throne 91 stone steps itself.

Built between the 11th and 18th centuries, it features the world’s widest Gothic nave, and was

perfect for a number of scenes in season six of Game of Thrones.

Finally we will go to the Monastery of San Pedro de Galligants, of which only the church and

the cloister remain visible, it is one of the most remarkable of Catalan Romanesque.
