TOUR DESCRIPTION

See the best of Barcelona including visits to the Barcelona Cathedral, the Gothic Quarter,

Olympic Village (Vila Olimpica), Montjuic Castle, and much more.

Picasso, the greatest painter of the twentieth century lived in Barcelona for a few years, but he

loved it enough to have an extraordinary museum.

With this Tour, we will walk around the Barcelona of the young Picasso discovering the Gothic

Quarter’s charming squares, the location of the family homes, the art school where he would

continue his artistic learning, the five workshops where he worked and lived...

Summing up we will follow this Itinerary:

Pla de Palau, Consolat de Mar, Plaça Mercè, Avinyó, Escudellers Blancs, Rambla, Plaça Nova -

Els Quatre Gats, the modernists restaurant, is the meeting place for the intellectuals and artists

of the day.

To complete the tour we can visit the Picasso Museum with our private guided tour or Santa

Maria del Mar church, that will allow you to discover the towers, rooftops, gallery and crypt of

You will get to know the church, discover all its hidden spaces and be able to see its beauty

After having some tapas in the Gothic Quarter ,we will hop aboard the Montjuic cable car for a

bird's eye view of the city, including the magnificent La Sagrada Familia and harbor. Our first

stop will be to the Montjuic Castle. This stop is essential if you want to avoid the exhausting

climb up to Montjuïc Castle, where we also can stop off at some of the gardens to be found on

Montjuïc Mountain. The closest are the Botanical Garden, the Joan Brossa Gardens and the

Mossèn Cinto Verdaguer Gardens.
