Venice: “City of Water”. Wouldn’t it be nice to discover Venice from its own point of view, from… the water? No, we’re not talking about the quick and touristic gondola-tours you always see everywhere around the city, but an authentic opportunity to take an unusual trip on a typical wooden boat with a private skipper and (never to be missed!) aperitivo!
This half-day & sunset tour will bring you to the unavoidable islands of Murano, Burano and Torcello, located in the North-Lagoon, giving you a break from the crowd of San Marco and letting you discover a green paradise cruising on our Narciso typical wooden boat. If you have never thought about Venice as an agricultural territory and a destination for local food and wine tours, this itinerary will be a big surprise!
The island of Sant’Erasmo also known as the “Vegetable garden of the Doge” -the Duke of Venice- and few minutes boat ride from the city, is a place where you can enjoy the view of the 3 skylines of Venice, Murano and Burano. We’ll take a bicycle ride in the green, taste the delicious violet artichokes (Slow Food presidium) and fresh vegetables, visit different vineyards and micro-wineries. A local production of D.O.C. Prosecco, rare organic honey made with the “limonium” flower and cheese are waiting for you.
Venice: “La Serenissima”. Doesn’t it sound like the most peaceful insight to this incredible city and its surrounding lagoon?
We promise a multi-sensorial and unique way of experiencing Venice, cruising on the boat among silent canals, discovering the colorful fishermen village of Burano, the cypress trees surrounding San Francesco del Deserto and the ancient Byzantine churches of Torcello.
