The “Ciudad Condal” is located on the eastern coast of Catalonia, Spain. You are in the right city if you want to see different and unique places. Barcelona has gone from a small roman outpost to a medieval potential port and from a Spanish potential industry to be one of the most run down cities of Europe. Finally, with its rebirth with the Olympic Games, Barcelona has become the city it is today. Nowadays, Barcelona’s doors are opened to the world and it’s a modern and international city being at the same time a unique and special place.
With this guided tour you’ll explore the ancient roman and medieval city. You’ll have the opportunity to discover the city’s mysteries and secrets being guided by David Izquierdo Salas, television journalist and writer.
The tour starts at Plaça Nova, just in front of the Cathedral. Then, it goes over Carrer del Bisbe, ancient roman Decumanus, passing through the first wall of Barcino, Plaça Sant Jaume and the Ancient forum, August’s temple with the remains of its columns, Plaça del Rei, Palau Reial and the roman Wall throught Via Laietana. Then the tour leads to Medieval Barcelona, the Jewish Call, La Rambla, and the medieval Wall.
