This Food Walking Tour with tastings will be the perfect culinary journey to enjoy typical local street food and renowned sweets of the Neapolitan tradition while taking a relaxing walk through its stunning streets, squares and churches.
Let’s start with a good caffè in via San Biagio dei Librai and discover a delicacy made only in Naples: the cioccolato foresta, “forest chocolate” of the Gay Odin family. We continue our food experience in via San Biagio dei Librai, taking a break in Piazza San Domenico to taste one of the most famous sweets in Naples, the sfogliatella riccia and frolla. Through San Gregorio Armeno, a street known all over the world for the tradition of nativity scenes, we arrive in Via Tribunali and from here to the Cathedral to take a look at the suggestive cathedral of Naples.
In via Tribunali, the street of the oldest pizzerias in Naples, we can taste a cuoppo (a sort of paper cone) of mixed deep-fried Napolitan foods and/ or pizza a portafoglio, simply a pizza folded in a wallet-like shape. The icing on the cake will be the typical babbà, the other great sweet of Naples, accompanied by a refreshing tasting of limoncello.
