Sicily is a warm island where cultures, traditions, art and cuisine live together in a beautiful land. 
The perfect background for its colors to appear even more bright and its scents more intense is Mount Etna, the highest active volcano in Europe.

Our Etna Food and Wine Volcano Tour starts from the comfort of your mini-van, from which you’ll have a first glimpse of typical villages made of lava stone houses, orange and lemon plantations, olives and almond trees surrounding the whole area. Your guide, born and raised in Sicily, will drive you through this beauty providing you with interesting historical and cultural information about the territory. Your curiosity is growing and so are the meters above sea level! At 1000 or so, prepare to keep your breath for a second, not because of a lack of oxygen, but because of the view: a (literally) breathtaking land that opens before your eyes, with charming vineyards surrounded by frames of lava stones.

Our first stop will be an old family-run winery, where you will be welcomed with a glass of cool rose prosecco. After visiting the cellars, it’s time to sip some of the wines you saw and taste typical appetizers such as dried tomatoes, olive oil bruschetta, local charcuteries in a stunning open air Amphitheatre.
We’ll move then to a rural farmhouse, enjoying another panoramic view from a lovely terrace and having a gourmet lunch of grilled vegetables, Sicilian pasta with pistachio, asparagus and black port sauce, delicious ricotta with marmalade, all combined with local Etna wine. Last but not least, a final gastronomic stop to taste another excellence of the area: liquors.
