Our Lake Como Day Tour will let you discover Como, its cuisine and people with the help of a foodie, a passionate cook aiming at getting people to know our country from the viewpoint of a gourmand.

You will reach Como by train, arriving in town where the covered market is*: here you’ll meet your foodie, a passionate guide that will tell you about local and Italian typical dishes and food. After visiting the market where vegetable, fruit and various food are sold, you’ll head to the pedestrian area to get to know what small food shops still sell and to have a tasty break in a bakery: great cappuccino and a typical cake as soft as a cloud called “Nuvola”. A fast service boat will then lead you to the stunning  Bellagio, where you can admire some of the most important and beautiful villas on the lake shore, breathtaking landscapes, small villages of rare beauty where tourism, history, art and nature come together harmoniously.
What a better setting to stop for lunch? We’ll sit at a very typical restaurant where owners are also fishermen, to let you definitely taste the real fish dishes from lake tradition: a nice 40 minute walk through the coloured gardens of Villa Melzi  will lead you there (or, if you prefer we can arrange a private car to cut distances).
After lunch a taxi or tourist small train will then lead you back to Bellagio and then by public service boat you will reach Varenna where you will taste Italian ice-cream and olive oil produced on the hills surrounding Varenna and the lake.
